Testing
Headquarters has expert measuring and testing equipment to ensure extremely high quality machined surfaces. All valve seats are properly cut with three angles using a Serdi precision cutter. All heads are magnafluxed and/or pressure tested for cracks and all valve springs are tested as a standard practice. An RA tester is used to test machined surfaces for smoothness to ensure proper gasket sealing. Sunnen run-out gage tests concentricity of valves and seats and a Sunnen guide tester is used to check valve guides for abnormal wear.

Cleaning Facilities
At Headquarters the clean room has all the right equipment to exceed your expectations. Ultra sonic cleaning, eco friendly jet wash, hot tank and Empire ceramic blaster allow our staff to get parts looking like new. At Headquarters, you will never catch one of our skilled technicians using surface conditioning disks, abrasive pads or bristle that can leave behind fine grit or metal particles that cause engine damage.

Equipment
Our mechanics use the Sun Scope Engine Diagnostic machine to check the health of your engine. The following can all be monitored and tested to find just the right solution to your vehicle’s problems:

We use our experience and equipment to diagnose problems and be efficient in performing repairs and restoration.

• Sun Distributor Tester, for off car distributor testing, condensers and points as well as vacuum advance.
• Fiber optic bore scope for inspecting cylinders of engines through spark plug holes.
